OVERVIEW We supply a simple, low-cost solution to your box-office and ticketing requirements. A fully-featured, easy-to-use Windows desktop software package for box-office event ticketing and reporting. The software is easy to learn and has enhanced keyboard operation for ease and speed of use. A realistic on-screen seating plan is created from your supplied information. Events can also be ‘unreserved / general admission’ which use an unreserved block of seats which is set to the required capacity. The maximum block size is 500. Multiple blocks can be added to an event. At all times, the emphasis is on ease of use and speed of booking. Bookings can be quickly changed from one payment method to another, voided or refunded in whole or in part: all with just a couple of clicks. All common box-office facilities are available on one screen. A tabbed area provides rapid movement from plan to address or payment. All with complete keyboard control. Comprehensive reporting is available at all times for an instant ‘snapshot’ of ticket sales and money received. Daily, weekly and monthly reports are provided in addition to complete single or multiple event reports. We support our software with high quality thermal tickets. Supplied in quantities as low as 1000 tickets. Ink-jet tickets are printed on a straight paper path ink-jet printer (e.g. Epson and Canon). For higher speeds, a thermal printer and our fan-fold thermal tickets are recommended. Fan-fold tickets pass through a slot in the back of the printer and are normally retained on a shelf or basket below. The Citizen CL-S 521 thermal printer can print a ticket in just over a second. The Citizen printer has surpassed all expectations. Reports from customers changing from ink-jet printing to thermal printing using the Citizen printer have been overwhelmingly positive. The printer has a small footprint and costs around £288 + VAT. Click here for details of suppliers.
